The Auxiliary Product Specialist (Sales Project Engineer) role is responsible for supporting the sales of auxiliary equipment by working with Sales team and customers to price equipment, create proposals, and produce orders. This role requires selling strategies and an engineering level of understanding plastics processing auxiliary equipment as either a single piece unit function, or more importantly the role requires an understanding of how the different pieces of equipment are uniquely fit into the role of a customer's Unique plant system or single cell system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:



Application sizing of auxiliary equipment based upon customer's unique applications.

Able to understand and explain the offerings being recommended to customers.

Produce customer-based pricing strategies unique to the opportunity along with margin analysis review.

Create proposals and validate the information for each product and modifying the details on proposals specific to the application being proposed.

Order Entry in Milacron System - Verifying the correct order data is with the purchase order prior to entering the order, and verifying costs / selling prices align with the equipment ordered

Teamwork and Collaboration - sharing of information and creating opportunities to educate our sales team on the products offered by the Auxiliary Group.

Skills/Experience/Education:

Associates degree in business, engineering, or relative field, or 3-5 years' experience in plastics machine manufacturing environment, or combination of education and experience

Sales oriented & Customer Focused

Detail Oriented

Should be able to work in multiple projects (multi-task) in a specialty product environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a cross functional work environment.

Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Ability to communicate and coordinate within different levels of the organization

Understanding of plastics injection / blow molding process preferred

Robotics and Automation Experience preferred

Engineering experience preferred.

Travel: 5% of Role Requires Travel - Will require supplier training on-site at vendor locations and customer visits with sales team on request of customer or sales department.
